Abstract: To reduce the obstacles when sharing models between model providers and model users, this article proposes a strategy for encapsulating geo-analysis models. Taking the models of OMS as research objects, through designing the interfaces of model-description, model-execution and model-deployment, related models are encapsulated and the standardized deployment package are formed. These deployment packages can be published as reusable and sharable Web service with the help of a service container. This article takes the AgES-W model as a specific example. The result of case study shows that the proposed model encapsulation strategy is feasibility and practicability, and further can contribute to the model sharing and integration in the network environment.
