Academic report by Prof. Christophe Claramunt: On the Representation of Life Trajectories: from Structured to Unstructured Representations and Explorations

应地理科学学院陈旻教授邀请,法国海军学院研究所所长、计算机科学教授、《国际地理信息科学杂志》副主编Christophe Claramunt教授来我院进行学术交流,于2019年10月11日在地科院121会议室作了题为“On the Representation of Life Trajectories: from Structured to Unstructured Representations and Explorations”的学术报告。

在报告开始之前,陈旻教授向Christophe Claramunt教授介绍了我院OpenGMS团队的主要研究内容并向其展示了该团队所取得的阶段性成果。 报告正式开始后,Christophe Claramunt教授首先介绍了生命轨迹的概念和逻辑框架并指出生命轨迹是当前GIS研究领域的一大热点。随后,Christophe Claramunt教授指出生命轨迹研究的目的是在工作领域发生深刻的社会变化情况下,识别个人的紧急居住行为,并在分析其与流动性行为时形成一种长远的视角。Christophe Claramunt教授基于具体研究案例从结构化和非结构化两个方面阐述了生命轨迹的表现形式。报告结束后,Christophe Claramunt教授逐一回答了老师、同学们的问题,并针对GIS学科未来的发展提出了深刻的见解,给与会师生带来了新的思考。我院沈婕教授、曹敏副教授、乐松山副教授也参加了此次学术报告。

Dr. Christophe Claramunt is a professor in computer science and chair of the Naval Academy Research Institute in France. His research is oriented towards theoretical and pluri-disciplinary aspects of geographical information science and their applications to urban, maritime and environmental systems. He has widely published in the domain of GIS and serves in the editorial boards of several international GIS journals and major GIS conferences including acting as an associate editor of the International Journal of Geographical Information Science.
